New Delhi district police ने 1 अगस्त से 10 अगस्त के बीच चलाए गए एक विशेष 10-day operation में 42 खोए या चोरी हुए mobile phones सफलतापूर्वक बरामद किए हैं। technical surveillance, digital tracking और field-level intelligence का उपयोग करते हुए, station house officers और Connaught Place के ACP की देखरेख में जिले की mobile crack teams ने विभिन्न police station jurisdictions से इन devices का पता लगाया।

बरामद किए गए 42 phones में से 30 phones उनके rightful owners को पहले ही लौटा दिए गए हैं। बाकी बचे 12 devices की वर्तमान में ownership verification और legal processing की जा रही है ताकि उन्हें जल्द से जल्द सही व्यक्तियों को वापस सौंपा जा सके। Deputy Commissioner of Police Sachin Sharma ने बताया कि इस recovery में North Avenue, Kartavya Path, Barakhamba Road, Tughlaq Road, Mandir Marg, Tilak Marg, Connaught Place, South Avenue और Sansad Marg के areas शामिल हैं।
