IMD Red Alert in Madhya Pradesh aur 15 States mein Yellow Alert: Heavy Rain aur Storm ki Chetavani

India Meteorological Department (IMD) ne 22 August 2026 ke liye high-level weather warning jaari ki hai. Iske tehat Madhya Pradesh mein isolated heavy se very heavy rainfall ke liye red alert ghoshit kiya gaya hai, jiske saath 50 km/h ki speed se storm-force winds chalne ki sambhavna hai. Iske alawa, Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Uttarakhand, aur Punjab sahit kul 15 states aur regions mein yellow alert jaari kiya gaya hai, jahan torrential rain aur severe thunderstorms hone ke aasar hain (IMD Press Release).

Official forecast ke anusar, Assam, Meghalaya, Chhattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Odisha, aur Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim mein bhi heavy rainfall ki sambhavna hai (IMD All India Weather Report). Meteorological agency ne chetavani di hai ki is kharab mausam ke chalte low-lying areas mein waterlogging, rivers ke water level mein vriddhi, aur road and rail traffic mein disruption ho sakti hai. Residents ko safe locations par rehne aur vulnerable regions mein localized flooding, landslides, aur mudslides ke khatre ko dekhte hue precaution lene ki salah di gayi hai (UNI India News).

IMD ne yeh bhi bataya hai ki East Madhya Pradesh ke kai districts mein flash floods ka moderate risk hai. 27 August tak weather outlook volatile bana rahega, kyunki active monsoon troughs aur western disturbances northern aur central regions mein precipitation la rahe hain. Farmers ko aane wali gusty winds aur heavy rainfall se apni standing crops ko protect karne ke liye zaroori precautions lene ki salah di gayi hai.
