Delhi University College में मनाई गई Munshi Premchand की 147th Birth Anniversary, PM Modi ने दी श्रद्धांजलि

Delhi University के P.G.D.A.V. College (Evening) में 31 July 2026 को महान साहित्यकार Munshi Premchand की 147th birth anniversary पर Premchand Jayanti मनाई गई। इस event में Premchand के deep philosophy, subtle nationalism और realism and idealism को मिलाने वाले unique literary approach पर lecture और discussions हुए।

Premchand's Philosophy of Life पर Special Lecture

Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University के Senior Professor, Prof. Satyaketu Sankrit ने "Premchand's Philosophy of Life" पर lecture दिया। उन्होंने बताया कि Premchand की works में overt nationalism न होने पर भी covert nationalist outlook साफ झलकता है और इसके लिए उन्होंने colonial regime का विरोध करने वाले उनके जप्त किए गए पहले short stories collection "Soz-e-Watan" का उदाहरण दिया। Principal Prof. Harindri Chaudhary ने कहा कि Premchand ने literature के जरिए society को एक new direction दी और writers को fiction में idealism और realism को merge करने के लिए inspire किया।

Historical Context और Social Reform पर चर्चा

Hindi Department के Professor और senior critic Prof. Harish Arora ने जोर देकर कहा कि Premchand की works का analysis उनके historical context से जोड़कर किया जाना चाहिए और उन्होंने storytelling के जरिए revolutionary social change लाया। P.G.D.A.V. College (Evening) के Hindi Department के Head, Prof. Omkar Lal Meena ने highlight किया कि Premchand की life philosophy humanism, Gandhian ideals और social reform पर आधारित थी, जो ordinary people, farmers और oppressed लोगों की lives से profundamente जुड़ी थी। इसी दिन Prime Minister Narendra Modi ने भी Munshi Premchand को tributes देते हुए उनकी timeless literary works और Kashi के literary heritage में उनके contribution को recognize किया (Source)।
