Delhi University ने जारी की 2026 DUSU Elections के लिए Advisory, कड़े नियमों के साथ होगी Voting
Delhi University प्रशासन ने 2026 Delhi University Students' Union (DUSU) elections के लिए official advisory जारी कर दी है। यह फैसला एक high-level meeting के बाद लिया गया है ताकि election process disciplined, peaceful और orderly तरीके से हो सके। 25 August 2026 को प्रकाशित NDTV report के अनुसार, DUSU elections 2026 officially 18 September 2026 को scheduled हैं और vote counting process 19 September 2026 को होगी। Chief Election Officer Raj Kishore Sharma university administration के साथ मिलकर इस process को oversee कर रहे हैं। preparatory activities के तहत, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) ने students से feedback लेने के लिए अपना 'My DU, My Manifesto' campaign launch किया है।
Regulatory Changes और Campaigning Norms
इस बार कई significant regulatory changes introduce किए गए हैं। university ने candidates के लिए ₹1 lakh security bond जमा करने की requirement को eliminate कर दिया है, जिसे पहले property defacement रोकने के लिए enact किया गया था। campaign vehicles को लेकर candidates अब maximum five vehicles तक restricted हैं। tractors और JCBs जैसी heavy machinery के साथ-साथ animals का use करना strictly prohibited है। इसके अलावा, university ने cars, buses, jeeps, auto-rickshaws और e-rickshaws सहित सभी vehicles पर election stickers लगाने पर ban लगा दिया है।
Printed Materials पर Ban और Handmade Materials
National Green Tribunal (NGT) directives और High Court mandates के compliance में, administration ने posters, flyers, pamphlets और banners सहित सभी printed promotional materials के use को prohibit कर दिया है। सारा campaigning student volunteers द्वारा बनाए गए handmade materials का उपयोग करके ही किया जाना चाहिए। university ने warn किया है कि campus violations से candidate की direct disqualification हो सकती है, जिसकी monitoring security oversight द्वारा की जाएगी।
EVMs का Introduction और Code of Conduct
Election framework को modernize करने के लिए, Delhi University का intention 2026-27 academic session के दौरान individual colleges में electronic voting machines (EVMs) introduce करने का है। हालाँकि DUSU elections में 2006 से EVMs का use हो रहा है, इस move का aim voting को further standardize करना और traditional paper ballots को phase out करना है। ये guidelines 21 August 2026 को university द्वारा release की गई Code of Conduct 2026 notification में solidified की गई थीं। अधिक जानकारी के लिए आप NDTV report देख सकते हैं।
