Delhi Police की कड़ी चेतावनी: Jantar Mantar protest के बाद fake news फैलाने वालों पर होगी कार्रवाई

Delhi Police ने anti-reservation protests को लेकर fake information फैलाने वाले लोगों के खिलाफ legal action की चेतावनी दी है। Reservation Hatao Andolan के Jantar Mantar पर demonstrations के call के बाद यह स्थिति बनी है। New Delhi के Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) ने X पर post करके कहा है कि citizens misleading social media posts या videos के आधार पर इकट्ठा न हों और unverified content को forward या share न करें Source। Official records के मुताबिक Jantar Mantar पर किसी भी anti-reservation gathering के लिए कोई permission नहीं दी गई थी।

प्रमोशन और Jantar Mantar पर जुटी भीड़

Reservation Hatao Andolan एक organization है जिसके Instagram पर 5.6 million से ज्यादा followers हैं, उसने 21 August 2026 को Jantar Mantar पर mobilize होने की कोशिश की। Delhi Police ने confirm किया कि इस event के लिए केवल Ramlila Maidan ही authorized venue था। 21 August को Ramlila Maidan पर peaceful protest के लिए एक official No-Objection Certificate (NOC) जारी किया गया था जिसमें maximum 500 participants की limit थी और शाम 4 बजे तक इसे conclude होना था। इसके बावजूद 21 August को Jantar Mantar पर crowds इकट्ठा हो गई जिसके कारण heavy security और paramilitary forces की deployment करनी पड़ी।

कानूनी कार्रवाई और धारा 163 लागू

Police ने 22 August को protesters को detain कर लिया। इस पूरी duration के दौरान New Delhi District में Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) की Section 163 के तहत prohibitory orders लागू रहे हैं। इसके तहत five or more persons की assemblies, demonstrations और protest marches पर strict ban है। 23 August 2026 तक Delhi Police ने reiterate किया कि unauthorized gatherings पर ban अभी भी strictly enforced है।
