Amit Shah Graffiti Case: Delhi Police ने Jharkhand से Youth Congress worker को किया गिरफ्तार

दिल्ली पुलिस ने Union Home Minister Amit Shah के खिलाफ spray-paint से graffiti बनाने के मामले में 27 साल के Indian Youth Congress worker Karan को गिरफ्तार किया है। यह घटना शुक्रवार, 21 अगस्त 2026 को हुई थी, जिसमें New Delhi के Deputy Commissioner of Police office के पास के entrance पर Amit Shah Shame लिखे slogans मिले थे। Jharkhand से गिरफ्तारी के बाद पुलिस ने Delhi Prevention of Defacement of Property Act की Section 3 के तहत First Information Report (FIR) दर्ज की। charges bailable होने के कारण अदालत ने आरोपी को bail दे दी है और उसे इसी Act के तहत formal notice भी जारी किया गया है।

जांच और political tension

Senior police official ने confirm किया है कि investigators इस बात की जांच कर रहे हैं कि इस defacement में कोई और लोग भी शामिल थे या नहीं। यह graffiti incident उसी दिन हुआ जिस दिन Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi ने Parliament Street police station पर सात घंटे का sit-in protest किया था। protest के दौरान Gandhi ने 20 जुलाई को एक अलग demonstration के दौरान 19 साल के Sahil Lochab को लगी pellet injuries के मामले में FIR दर्ज करने की मांग की थी। Gandhi का आरोप था कि उस specific FIR registration में देरी इसलिए हुई क्योंकि इसके लिए Home Minister Amit Shah से final permission चाहिए थी, जो इस graffiti case से जुड़ी political tension को और बढ़ाता है।
