Delhi Master Plan 2047 Unveiled: TOD Policy Aur Affordable Housing Par Focus, Farmers Ka Virodh Shuru

Delhi Master Plan 2047 (MPD-2047) ko official taur par 20 August 2026 ko launch kar diya gaya hai. Is long-term urban development framework ko Union Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs Shri Manohar Lal, Delhi Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu aur Chief Minister Rekha Gupta ne unveil kiya hai. Yeh plan 3.2 crore ki projected population ko dhyan mein rakhkar banaya gaya hai. Iska main focus employment aur residential areas ko integrate karna hai taaki jahan jobs hon, wahin housing bhi available ho. Isme city drains ke along greenways ka development aur Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) policy ka implementation shamil hai, jiska maksad public transport corridors ko boost karna aur Metro connectivity ke saath '24-hour city' zones banana hai.
