Delhi Master Plan 2047 Unveiled: 40 Lakh New Homes aur Vertical Development ka Plan

Delhi ka Master Plan 2047 officially notify aur unveil kar diya gaya hai. Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs Manohar Lal ne Delhi Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu aur Chief Minister Rekha Gupta ke sath is plan ko introduce kiya. Yeh policy Delhi Development Authority (DDA) dwara approve ki gayi hai aur iska aim Delhi ko net-zero, climate-resilient city banana hai, jo ki Prime Minister Narendra Modi ke 'Viksit Bharat 2047' vision ke sath aligned hai (Source).
Housing aur Infrastructure Strategy
Is plan ka aim 2047 tak 3.2 crore ki population ke liye 30 se 40 lakh new affordable housing units provide karna hai. Isme vertical development aur high-density corridors par focus kiya gaya hai. Housing societies ke liye redevelopment threshold ko 40,000 se hata kar 3,000 square meters kar diya gaya hai, jisse 7 lakh additional units ban sakte hain. Slum dwellers ke liye 'In-situ' redevelopment aur unauthorized colonies ke redevelopment ke liye 2,000 square meters ki plot limit rakhi gayi hai.
Transportation aur Environment
Delhi Metro network ko 416 kilometers se badha kar 695 kilometers kiya jayega aur sath hi 6 new Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) lines add hongi. Yamuna ke kinare 52-kilometer cycling track aur 150 kilometers ke path connectors banaye jayenge. Environmental initiatives ke antargat Yamuna rejuvenation ke liye 22 drains ko bio-remediation aur artificial wetlands ke zariye treat kiya jayega.
