Union Ministry ने Delhi Master Plan 2047 किया Notify, 40 Lakh New Homes बनाने का Target
Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs ने गुरुवार, 20 अगस्त 2026 को officially Master Plan for Delhi 2047 (MPD-2047) को notify कर दिया है। इसका उद्देश्य 2047 तक अनुमानित 32 million जनसंख्या को accommodate करना है। यह जानकारी DDA Approves Delhi Master Plan 2047 के माध्यम से सामने आई है। इस policy को पहले 12 अगस्त 2026 को Delhi Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu की अध्यक्षता में हुई meeting में Delhi Development Authority (DDA) से approval मिला था।
Housing और Development Goals
Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar ने Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu और Chief Minister Rekha Gupta के साथ इस initiative को unveil किया। यह plan private capital का उपयोग करके लगभग 4 million housing units का construction करने का aim रखता है। यह policy 25 से 60 square meters carpet area वाले smaller units के जरिए affordable housing को priority देती है, जबकि Land Pooling Areas और Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) zones से 30 lakh dwellings generate होने की projection है। इस बारे में अधिक जानकारी Delhi Master Plan 2047 Updates में दी गई है।
New Concepts और Infrastructure
MPD-2047 एक "24-hour city" concept introduce करता है, जो tourism और employment को boost देने के लिए extended economic और cultural activity के लिए specific nodes identify करता है। Development norms को liberalize किया गया है ताकि vertical expansion हो सके, जिसमें 100 floors से अधिक के "landmark developments" शामिल हैं। Policy के तहत slum और JJ clusters के in-situ rehabilitation के लिए maximum Floor Area Ratio (FAR) 500 है।
Environment और Digital Upgrades
Environmental और infrastructural goals में Yamuna में गिरने वाले सभी 22 drains को treat करना और Delhi Metro network को 416 km से बढ़ाकर 695 km करना शामिल है, साथ ही six new Regional Rapid Transit System corridors भी प्रस्तावित हैं। 5G connectivity और AI-driven urban management जैसे digital upgrades भी core features हैं। DDA Vice Chairman N Sarvana Kumar और industry leaders जैसे NAREDCO Delhi President Harsh Vardhan Bansal तथा NAREDCO President Parveen Jain ने capital के real estate sector के लिए इस plan की significant potential को note किया है।
