Delhi Government की बड़ी कार्रवाई: Pollution Norms तोड़ने वाली 106 Industrial Units पर एक्शन

Delhi Government ने 21 August 2026 को घोषणा की है कि environmental regulations का उल्लंघन करने वाली 106 industrial units के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई की गई है। इस enforcement के तहत January से July 2026 के बीच एक comprehensive inspection campaign चलाया गया, जिसमें अधिकारियों ने 2,011 industrial facilities का सर्वे किया। Government data के अनुसार, 106 units established environmental standards का पालन करती नहीं पाई गईं, जबकि 78 अन्य units Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC) से mandatory Consent to Operate (CTO) के बिना संचालित हो रही थीं, जिसकी अधिक जानकारी newsonair.gov.in पर उपलब्ध है।

Closure Orders और Environmental Compensation

इन violations के जवाब में, सरकार ने 33 industrial units के खिलाफ closure orders जारी किए हैं और 44 अलग-अलग मामलों में environmental compensation (EC) लगाया है। Authorities ने पुष्टि की है कि बाकी मामलों के लिए relevant environmental statutes के अनुसार आगे की legal proceedings जारी हैं।

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta का बयान और Public Appeal

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta ने जोर देकर कहा कि राजधानी के বাসিন্দिओं के लिए clean और healthy air सुनिश्चित करना सरकार की top priority है। उन्होंने कहा कि नियमों का पालन करने वाले industries को पूरा support मिलेगा, लेकिन सरकार air pollute करने वाली units के प्रति zero tolerance की नीति अपनाएगी। Chief Minister ने नागरिकों से अपील की है कि वे "Green Delhi" app या "MCD 311" app के जरिए industrial pollution, waste burning या environmental damage की रिपोर्ट करें। Delhi government और DPCC द्वारा संचालित इस ongoing anti-pollution drive में overall air quality सुधारने के लिए road dust, vehicular emissions और construction-related activities की monitoring भी शामिल है।
