Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta Urges Youth to Engage with Democratic Institutions

Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta ने 25 August को Kirori Mal College और Ramjas College, Delhi University के students को address किया। उन्होंने youth से appeal की कि वे democracy को strengthen करने के liye democratic institutions, ideologies और procedures में actively engage हों। यह address Delhi Assembly में ek interactive session के दौरान हुआ, जो India's youth और governance system के बीच gap को bridge करने के liye ek flagship youth outreach initiative का part है।

Delhi Assembly Secretariat द्वारा managed इस initiative का aim legislative processes को demystify करना और Gen-Z के बीच civic responsibility की sense foster करना है। Gupta ने highlight किया कि आज की digitally connected generation purposeful thinking और social awareness से driven है। उन्होंने note किया कि उनकी energy को informed civic participation में channel किया जा सकता है, जिससे वे India's future के active co-creators बन सकें।

Visit के दौरान, students को India's parliamentary heritage के experiential tour पर ले जाया गया। Tour की शुरुआत assembly building की history से हुई, जिसे 1912 में construct किया गया था। यह building पहले Central Legislative Assembly के रूप में serve करती थी और इसमें Vithalbhai Patel जैसे figures की legacy है। Participants को 1993 में reorganization के बाद से Delhi Legislative Assembly के role के बारे में भी brief किया गया।

Program में legislative processes पर ek introductory session शामिल था, जिसमें detail दी गई कि laws कैसे draft, debate और pass किए जाते हैं। Gupta ने यह emphasize करते हुए conclude किया कि democratic society की vibrancy informed और active youth generation पर depend करती है। उन्होंने state किया कि democratic institutions को firsthand observe करने से young citizens अपनी curiosity और energy को accountability और public service की तरफ direct कर सकते हैं।
